What is R.O.P.E.S.?

R.O.P.E.S (Rapid and Optimal Physical Exercising) is a sling training system developed by the Norwegian Physiotherapist and Manual Therapist Olav Rafoss.

After many years of rehabilitation and also training athletes at top level, he missed a simple device that could be used to train the body with its own body weight without having to many “add ons” to make the system complete. After trying and failing fore some years, he finally developed a sling training concept that is good for most situations, it being rehabilitation or top training for athletes, old and young.

It is a concept that in a unique way combines strength and coordination, endurance and agility depending upon what you emphasize!

The system is constantly changing, much because of all the inputs that we get from others that train in slings. The slings are easy to assemble and can be used in fitness centres and rehab clinics, outdoors and at home! With different "add ons" you can make the exercises easier or harder, all depending upon what level you are at. From untrained to top level athletes: everybody can get a challenge that fits their level.
